Mina Mitry

Mina is one of Kepler’s co-founders and the company’s CEO. A fervent leader with experience conceiving and scaling disruptive companies. He holds a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto. In 2015 he co-founded Kepler Communications with the ultimate mission of bringing internet connectivity to space. Mina has lead Kepler to design, build and launch a telecommunications satellite in a span of only 12 months, the first of its kind. Under his leadership Kepler was named one of the most innovative companies in the world by fast magazine.

Jeffrey Osborne

Jeffrey’s ability to think outside of the box and take risks in a pragmatic manner is a refreshing spin from traditional views of business development.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, and a Master’s in Space Science from the International Space University. Before starting Kepler, he founded and ran a number of student teams at the University of Toronto developing suborbital rockets and small satellites.

Jeffrey has led Kepler’s business initiatives, helping to secure millions in commercial and government contracts.

Mark Michael

Mark is the whiz behind the Engineering team at Kepler. He holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, a Master’s in Operations Research and quit his PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering to focus on Kepler.

Mark has worked for major software firms including IBM and Oracle as well as a software developer on RBC’s Electronic trading platform. He won IBM's Smarter Planet award for his work on a traffic optimization algorithm and enjoys applying his math skills to problems in space, medicine and sports.

He claims to have mathematically proven that Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all time.

Wen’s passion is in tackling big challenges. Ones that involve pushing the boundaries of technology and changing the way we do things.

He graduated from the University of Toronto Engineering Science program where he was top of his class, majoring in aerospace engineering. Prior to joining Kepler, he was working at Bombardier Aerospace on the next generation business jet design.

In his spare time, he likes to think of ways to bring the Ironman suit to real life.
